Visiting the Ships and Seamen's Club
Each morning, the seamen’s chaplain and honorary helpers go visiting the crews of ships lying in the Port of Bremen. They take with them international newspapers, telephone cards and make time for conversation on board these ships.

In the afternoon, there is a bus free of charge, up and down from the Seamen’s Home. Our co-workers and helpers and, volunteers doing voluntary service for a year, go and fetch part of the crew to the Seamen’s Club.

Hard work done, the seaman can communicate with home per telephone or Internet, play billiard, go and buy needed things and articles in the city centre or just let the soul be at peace whilst having a refreshing beverage.

After being here in the Seamen’s Club, the seamen are being taken back by us to their ship.
